How it’s counted

  • Downloads are times someone downloaded Sordina from this site. A download that’s resumed isn’t counted twice, but downloading it again is.
  • Macs that checked for updates are the update checks from Sordina in one full day. Sordina checks once a day, so this is roughly how many Macs use it. Someone who clicks Check for Updates by hand is counted again, and a Mac that was off isn’t counted.
  • Updates installed are new versions downloaded by Sordina’s updater.

For each of these, the update server adds one to a count for that day and version. That’s all it keeps: no IP address, no identifier, no cookie, nothing that could tell one person or Mac from another. Page visits are counted separately by Cloudflare Web Analytics, also without cookies. See Privacy.
